Living on average is not for you.

The Truth about Growth and Self-Knowledge

If you really stop to watch the world around you, you will realize that personal development is not a luxury. It is a necessity. It is what solves much of your problems and at the same time improves the skills you need to grow.

The world is competitive. In the labour market, professionals are increasingly prepared, with different courses, colleges, specializations and experiences. And while this happens, opportunities seem to be diminishing. In this scenario, the highlight is who is constantly evolving, who decides to develop for real.

And that goes beyond the professional side. In personal relationships, we see more and more shy, insecure people with difficulty expressing themselves or speaking in public. Men afraid to show who they are, women afraid to be judged. These themes are not taught in schools or colleges, but are resolved through self-knowledge.

Personal development was always necessary. The Stoic philosophy itself, which emerged over 2,000 years ago, already spoke about evolution, balance and emotional strength. That is, this need is not new. It was only more evident in the present world.

And there is a reality that can bother: living in the average doesn't work anymore. I'm not talking about .mediocre . as an insult, but in the literal sense of the word. Living in the average is not going forward, not going backwards, just exist in the middle, like most. Working, paying bills, and if you give, looking for small moments of distraction on the weekend. This cycle works for those who don't want to change, and all right. But it doesn't match with those who want something bigger.

So, it's worth the thought: how do you see your life today? At what point are you on the ladder towards your dreams? Are you really giving your best or just settling in and living the way you do?

The answers tell a lot about the path you're going to walk from here on out.
