Changing the dealer does not solve the lack of structure because the game comes before the players.

Many managers, when they notice a drop in the results or stagnation of the Metas, resort to the most obvious and definitely the most expensive solution that is to fire and hire new talents. The expectation is that a "star seller" will arrive with a magic formula to save the company's billing.

However, the reality of the service market is clear, Before you switch players, you need to set up the field. There is a principle that separates business start-ups from profit-making businesses that is structure before climbing.

The Myth of the Vendor "Save the Homeland"

There is a dangerous belief that success in sales depends exclusively on the charism or networking of the seller, although individual talent has its value, it is not sustainable without a process that sustains it.

  • The cost of rotation: Changing people constantly generates expenses with terminations, new trainings and the worst, loss of history and relationship with your customers.

  • The trap of dependence: If your result depends on a specific person (or the heroic effort of the owner), you do not have a solid company, you have a fragile business and individual talent hostage.

Setting up the game, what is "Failure to Structure"?

Before blaming the team, you need to look at the base because the lack of a commercial structure usually manifests itself on three fronts that drain their profit:

  1. Sales without Method: There is no playbook, validated scripts or a powered CRM (many times there is no CRM). The seller "does his way" and the company loses control over the customer's journey.

  2. Disconnected Marketing: Invests in paid traffic (Facebook, Google or TikTok Ads), but leads arrive and die in the hand of a team without approach process. Marketing without sales process is just waste of money.

  3. Financial Management without Financial Clarity: Decisions are taken on the improvised. If you do not know your margins, your purchase cost and your cash flow, high billing can be just an illusion of growth.

"Putting an elite salesman into a chaotic process is like putting a Formula One driver to drive a rally, he's not going to get anywhere and he's still going to be frustrated."

Why does the Process improve Performance?

When you "get the game together", performance is no longer a lucky blow and becomes a science. A structured business allows you to identify exactly where the error is, you can identify whether your gargalo is in the lead attraction, in the conversion into sales or in the financial profitability. The process allows the company to grow maturely, creating a clear path to sustainable growth.

Conclusion: The game wins in strategy

Changing people is often a expensive and inefficient alternative, fixing the structure is the ultimate cure. If you seek to stop burning and want to beat Metas with predictability, the secret is not to find the "perfect seller", but to build the solid method.

Invoicing only becomes a real result when sales, marketing and finance speak the same language. After all, the rule is clear, before climbing you have to support.

This is just one of the problems I solve through my strategic advice at the Pilar Institute 1. If you realize that your business problem is not people, but the field where they're playing, I can help you fix the house.
